Mitch Holtus at Mission Trail MS

Mission Trail Middle School Huddle was honored to be led by Mitch Holthus - "Voice of the Chiefs" and proud grandpa of one of their FCA student leaders!

Mitch shared a story about flying through a storm and the importance of a compass—reminding students that our hearts need one too, centered on Jesus.

He broke life down with a simple fraction analogy: Reality over expectation, and showed how Christ remains steady no matter the combo (Good/Good, Bad/Good, Good/Bad, Bad/Bad).

He challenged students to journal where they see God show up - because His faithfulness is always worth remembering.

Shawnee Mission West HS at Life 88.5

The Shawnee Mission West FCA Huddle had an incredible opportunity to visit the Life 88.5 radio station for a behind-the-scenes look at how God is working through Christian media.

Students toured the station, learned about the ministry and mission behind the broadcasts, and discovered how faith-filled messages can encourage and impact thousands of listeners every day. The experience gave students a unique perspective on how God can use a variety of gifts and careers to share the hope of the Gospel.

Most importantly, the visit strengthened their faith and community as they spent time learning and growing together. The students left encouraged and grateful for the opportunity to see ministry in action beyond the walls of their school.

Drue Tranquill at West Platte HS

More than 100 students filled the cafeteria at West Platte High School to hear an inspiring message from Super Bowl Champion and Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill.

Drawing from his own experiences on and off the field, Drue encouraged students to replace anxiety with the things of God, find their identity in Christ rather than achievements and embrace the gift of Sabbath by slowing down and focusing on what is eternal.

After sharing, Drue took time to personally connect with students, answer questions and sign autographs, making the morning even more memorable. It was a powerful opportunity for students to hear how faith can shape every aspect of life, both in competition and beyond.

Ray Pec HS FCA Spreading Encouragement

The Raymore-Peculiar High School FCA Huddle recently found a creative way to encourage their school community. Students designed and created colorful posters filled with uplifting messages, positive reminders and Scripture, then displayed them throughout the hallways for their classmates to see each day.

Through simple acts of kindness and truth, these student leaders are sharing God's love beyond their weekly huddle, reminding every student who passes by that they are seen, valued and loved!

Bibles at Baldwin City JH FCA

The future is bright at Baldwin FCA! During a junior high Huddle, one student brought an entire bag of Bibles from home so every student in her small group could have one in hand as they studied God's Word together.

Moments like these are a powerful reminder that God is already at work in the hearts of the next generation. As students step up to lead and boldly share their faith, they are becoming disciple-makers who are impacting their peers in meaningful ways.
